UK alternative provider of wholesale full fibre infrastructure CityFibre has today announced that it has made its full fibre products available to Digital Wholesale Solutions (DWS) in 27 cities.

Through the agreement, DWS is offering a full portfolio of Ethernet products over CityFibre’s future-proofed full fibre networks, offering guaranteed symmetrical bandwidths from 100Mbps to 1Gbps.

In addition, DWS has launched its ‘Fibre Flex’ service, which guarantees 200Mbps both up and down and the provision to burst up to 1Gbps without incurring additional charges or having to pre-arrange more bandwidth availability.

“We’re excited to announce the availability of our full fibre portfolio through DWS. DWS has tremendous channel reach, working with over 2,500 resellers, and it will be able to complement its existing product portfolio with some of the most exciting connectivity products on the market,” said Andy Wilson, head of wholesale at CityFibre.

“Over CityFibre’s networks, DWS can provide a compelling and competitive full fibre solution for partners, ensuring businesses have access to the best connectivity services available. Together, we are igniting the growth in Britain’s digital future.”

All of these full fibre products are now available for DWS’ channel partners to quote and purchase through its portal in the following 27 cities: Aberdeen, Bracknell, Bradford, Bristol, Cambridge, Cheltenham, Coventry, Edinburgh, Exeter, Glasgow, Gloucester, Huddersfield, Leeds, Leicester, Maidenhead, Milton Keynes, Northampton, Nottingham, Peterborough, Plymouth, Portsmouth, Reading, Rotherham, Sheffield, Slough, Southend and Wakefield with further locations set to be announced.

Nathan Marke, chief digital officer at DWS, added: “We are delighted to be working with CityFibre to give our partners access to fantastic fibre Ethernet products, available in locations where businesses have the most to gain from the fibre rollout. It’s opening doors for our partners, allowing them to branch out to new areas, with new products, that will be a huge benefit to their customers.”

The news comes after CityFibre announced that it is set to undertake an industry-wide consultation on the role of alternative full fibre infrastructure builders in helping to switch-over customers from legacy copper networks.

Daisy Group launched DWS in April 2019 after merging its channel-serving divisions - Daisy Wholesale, Daisy Distribution (Network Branded Mobile) and Daisy Worldwide (International Voice Services) - under the new brand.
