Sparkle and Telekom Slovenije will use their fully interconnected backbones to provide a new link that is a shorter and alternative route from the Balkans, with access options from Ljubljana, Sofia and Istanbul to Milan and other major hubs in Western Europe.
It will provide connectivity to the Balkans region in Europe, Middle Eastern operators and international telco-OTTs, ISPs and content providers.

The new route is natively integrated with Sparkle’s global Tier-I IP Transit backbone Seabone, among the top ten Internet networks worldwide, allowing Sparkle to provide IP and data services including city2city connectivity, IP transit, DDos attack mitigation and Virtual NAP solutions.
