Colo Atl’s Atlanta data centre and interconnection facility has been selected by Hayneville Fiber Transport (HFT) for its interconnectivity power.

By partnering with the provider of carrier-neutral colocation, data centre and interconnection services at 55 Marietta Street in Atlanta, HFT can interconnect with strategic carrier partners and key business partners with no monthly recurring cross-connect fees within the Colo Atl meet-me-area (MMA).

Headquartered in Greenville, HFT specialises in delivering fiber-based wholesale interconnectivity and bandwidth intensive applications for cellular, governmental, educational, banking and other industrial institutions.

“In meeting Tim Kiser, owner and founder of Colo Atl, we were immediately impressed with his knowledge and candid approach in helping HFT collocate in Atlanta,” said Evelyn Causey, president of Hayneville Fiber Transport.

“We thoroughly enjoy working through Tim and his team and leveraging Colo Atl’s key connections in the Atlanta area. Tim’s hands-on ‘I’m here to help’ mentality is what ultimately cinched the deal over other providers for HFT, being quite new to the Atlanta space.”

Commenting on the news, Kiser added: “We are honored to not only welcome Hayneville Fiber Transport to our Colo Atl Family, but also to the great city of Atlanta. Colo Atl’s prime location in Atlanta, combined with our premium data center and interconnection services and hands-on, personalised customer service approach topped with no monthly recurring cross-connect fees will indeed offer immense value to HFT in a large Tier 1 market, as opposed to its Tier 2 and 3 marketplaces.”

HFT plans to expand to more services with Colo Atl in the near future.

The news follows the announcement that SEIMITSU Business Technology Solutions has also selected Colo Atl for colocation and connectivity services.
