But a launch of the combined company – which has already bought Altice’s wholesale and mobile voice business – will not take place until January.

KPN plans to sell its wholesale operation, iBasis. Both deals were announced in March for undisclosed prices, but the Altice acquisition – originally just for wholesale voice – was expanded to include mobile voice services by the time that was completed in September.
