LightRiver names Travis Ewert as COO

LightRiver Software, a multivendor telecoms network software provider, has appointed Travis Ewert as its new chief operating officer (COO).

Ewert is considered a network automation industry leader and will immediately be responsible for strategically scaling the business while at the same time enhancing the company’s solution set and customer experience.

With these relationships in place and the netFLEX platform, we will lead the charge for customer and digital experience advancements for network automation and programmable networking.”

He enters the role with more than 20-years’ experience a technology executive championing network programmability and control. His career began as a network technologist in 1994 were he focused on network architecture, technology strategy and network software development. In 2008, he entered his first executive roles with TW Telecom. Level 3 Communications and CenturyLink.

During his long career, Ewert was directly involved with a number of industry fists for network and service automation, as well as on-demand use cases as made available to the operation or directly to end customers.
