Windstream has boosted the capacity along its coast-to-coast connectivity US route from NJFX’s purpose-built Tier 3 carrier neutral colocation campus.

With diverse routes from NJFX to various US locations across its 150,000 mile fibre network, Windstream says that the expanded connectivity options help meet carrier demands for high-bandwidth and reinforces existing network architecture.

“The solid partnership we’ve built with NJFX – with its industry-leading facility providing a prime meeting hub connecting three continents (the US, Europe and South America) – strongly supports and aligns with our international strategy of serving global customers seeking connectivity in the US,” states Joe Scattareggia, executive vice president, Windstream Wholesale.

Customers can now transport traffic with one of Windstream’s new west coast locations, which include:

  • One Wilshire, Los Angeles

  • 55 Market Street, San Jose

  • 9/11 Great Oaks, San Jose

  • 529 Bryant Street, Palo Alto

  • 7135 S. Decatur, Las Vegas

  • 1 Super Loop Way, Reno

  • 120 E. Van Buren Street, Phoenix

  • 200 S 10th Street, McAllen

The new locations will act as international gateways for Windstream clients to reach Latin America and Asia-Pacific as well as various points in between. In addition, because of its presence at NJFX Windstream customers have direct access to five independent subsea cable systems including TGN1, TGN2 and Seabras, with WALL-LI and AEC2 due to come online in 2019.

“The NJFX team has consistently proven to be a valuable partner, serving their core customers with quick and reliable installs that enable Windstream to then build out networks across the country for those same customers, supporting their expansion and growth. As we continue to build into strategic landing stations across the country, we will also be adding new express routes from NJFX. The flexibility, creativity and innovation of the NJFX team has been exceptional and we look forward continuing this successful partnership.”

Windstream connectivity options include: wavelength dedicated point-to-point connectivity, speeds between 1G to 100G and low latency across more than 50 markets across the US. As well as e-line services which offer a range of voice, data and cloud services over reliable Ethernet connections.
