Two data centres on the campus, which is located in Stockley Park, are now online, offering a combined 40MW of IT capacity between them
The VIRTUS LONDON5 and LONDON6 sit on the seventeen acre campus and bring the company’s total load capacity in the London area to 90MW. It is also planning a third data centre, LONDON7, for the site, which will add another 25MW of capacity.
The campus has the secured power capacity to increase to 120MVA of incoming power from diverse grid connection points and 70,000msq of data centre space.
VIRTUS is part of the ST Telemedia Global Data Centres (STT GDC) group, a carrier-neutral and advanced data centre platform with over 65 data centres in India, China, Singapore, Thailand and the UK.
Neil Cresswell, CEO of VIRTUS Data Centres, said: “The go live of our VIRTUS Data Centre Campus at Stockley Park is part of an important year for VIRTUS. We continue to see a burgeoning demand for colocation in the UK data centre market, as enterprises and cloud providers scale out their platforms to meet user demand for digital services.
