The Ericsson IoT Accelerator links with Microsoft Azure, allowing enterprises looking to deploy IoT services to use Microsoft’s cloud service.
Azure connects the enterprises directly to the ecosystem of a number of mobile operators using a connectivity management solution developed by Ericsson, called the Ericsson Device Connection Platform.
Ericsson said the DCP, which is part of the IoT Accelerator, allows telecom operators to design, launch and evolve managed IoT connectivity offerings towards enterprises requiring cellular connectivity. It also provides enterprises with full control and automation capabilities to handle the connectivity for their IoT devices.
