BroadSoft acquires cloud wholesale specialist VoIP Logic

BroadSoft has bought VoIP Logic, a wholesale provider of cloud communications services to a growing number of US internet and service providers.

BroadSoft, the global unified communication software as a service (UCaaS) company, has acquired VoIP Logic, a wholesale provider of BroadWorks-based cloud communications services to internet and service providers in the US.

VoIP Logic has been offering a rapidly-growing cloud wholesale offer to its customers. This cloud model will be added to the BroadSoft BroadCloud portfolio and is designed for service providers who want greater control of their platform.

VoIP Logic offers service providers the ability to design, integrate and update their cloud services.

Taher Behbehani, chief digital and marketing officer, BroadSoft, said: “We see that a large percentage of data consumed by today’s business is through cloud services, which is why BroadSoft has become the go-to cloud transformation partner for service providers seeking to rapidly shift their legacy telecom infrastructure to a network capable of delivering enterprise cloud applications for mobile unified communication, team collaboration, and customer engagement.

“VoIP Logic further strengthens our BroadCloud UCaaS solution portfolio, and the ability for our service provider customers to fully benefit from the cloud.”

VoIP Logic is presently a global provider of Voice over-Internet Protocol (VoIP) managed services and the creator of Cortex OSS for multi-system provisioning and management. The Company is focused on deploying, integrating and managing next-generation communications technology. As such, it prides itself on 100% carrier and service provider neutrality.

For 2016, BroadSoft expects the acquisition to contribute approximately $800,000 in revenue and be $0.01 dilutive to its non-GAAP earnings.
