BT corporate affairs director ‘to leave after Ofcom review’

Michael Prescott, BT’s group director of corporate affairs, will leave after Ofcom’s regulatory review.

.BT is to lose its director of corporate affairs. Michael Prescott will leave the company as soon as UK regulator Ofcom completes its regulatory review – expected in the next few months.

A BT official confirmed to UK publication PR Week, which broke the news, that: “We have commenced a search process to find a successor for our group director of corporate affairs, Michael Prescott. No formal decision has been taken on a replacement or around the potential timing of any change.”

Prescott was with BT for seven years, having previous worked at PR company Weber Shandwick. Before that he was political editor of the Sunday Times.
