NetIX is a global Ethernet traffic and services exchange platform and both Lefkowitz and Rangelov had been advising the company of its expansion and internationalisation of the sales and marketing prior to their appointments.
Lefkowitz holds 25 years’ experience in the finance and industry sectors, and his previous roles include those at the American Chamber of Commerce in Bulgaria and the New Europe Corporate Advisory (NECA).
“Ken is leading by example on internationalising our team,” said Neven Dilkov, NetIX founder and chairman. “This is a key priority for us as we expand to new geographies. We’re delighted to have both Ken and Mariyan on board.”
Rangelov has nine years’ experience in treasury operations, financial risk management, investment management and financial analysis and has also served at the NECA as well as the Bulgarian PostBank.
“As we’ve worked with the NetIX team over the past 12 months, we’re increasingly enthusiastic about the market opportunity for our Global Internet Exchange service,” Lefkowitz said. “It’s an honour to step into a leadership role as we grow our network globally.”
In October 2013, NetIX joined the AMS-IX reselling programme and later that same year, IPv6 internet backbone Hurricane Electric connected to the NetIX platform.
