Orange appoints two deputy CEOs

Orange has appointed Ramon Fernandez and Pierre Louette as deputy CEOs from January 2016 in a bid to strengthen the group’s governance.

In addition to Gervais Pellissier’s appointment in November 2011, the group will have three deputy CEOs.

"These appointments, which are aligned with practices implemented by other major international groups, will strengthen the group's governance, enabling it to better reflect the diversity of its activities and its challenges," said Orange.

Both Fernandez and Louette will continue to serve in their previous roles. Fernandez joined Orange in September 2014 where he served as deputy CEO in charge of group finance and strategy. He also sits on the board of Meditel and supervisory boards of Iris Capital, Orange Polska and Euronext.

Louette has served as deputy CEO in charge of the general secretariat, Orange wholesale France, group sourcing and supply chain, the Chrysalid operational efficiency programme and of relations between Orange and Group content stakeholder.
