Superloop secures telco licence in Hong Kong

Infrastructure provider Superloop has secured a unified carrier licence (UCL) from the office of the communications authority in Hong Kong.

The UCL will enable Superloop Hong Kong to build, operate and provide telecommunications networks and services in the area.

Daniel Abrahams, Superloop CEO, said that the accreditation is a significant milestone for the company, and the Superloop board added that it is continuing to evaluate potential investment and network expansion opportunities across Asia-Pacific.

Further information on the UCL and Superloop’s progress in Hong Kong will be released at or before the company’s AGM of shareholders.

In June this year, the company commenced trading on the Australian Securities Exchange (ASX).
