The separate entity would be designed to provide wholesale services to other market players and the company is said to be proceeding with a feasibility study on the project.
Rumours of the split began in August last year, and it follows the company’s takeover by Petr Kellner’s PPF Group in November 2013.
O2 Czech chairman, Luis Malvido, left his role and the company on December 31, 2014 and has been replaced by chief executive Tomas Budnik.
