Dufour will replace Ray Stewart, who is set to retire after 17 years at the company, and her position will be effective of April 1 2015.
An existing employee at France’s SFR, Dufour has also held roles at Vivendi, BNP Paribas and Credit Agricole Cheuvreux.
Belgacom announced Dominique Leroy as CEO at the company earlier this year.
