Telekom Slovenia to be sold in 2015

State-owned Telekom Slovenia is expected to be sold in early 2015, a government official told reporters today.

Slovenia Telekom was put up for sale earlier this year, following initial discussions in October 2013, but has faced numerous delays due to changes in the country’s governmental structure.

Metod Dragonia, state secretary, said that the government would establish a strategy to determine further privatisations in the Eurozone member state by the end of the year.

In July this year, Telekom Slovenia acquired Bosnian telecoms firm Telrad Net in a bid to expand its business in the country.
