According to reports, the company has received approval from industry regulators to begin operation from 23 August, and the company will use 3G and next-generation technologies for the trial.
MTN said it will also offer mobile virtual training, access to a range of TV channels for mobility and the use of an electronic library.
The company will also offer services including LBS, M2M, VoIP and e-government capabilities.
MTN Irancell was the first operator in the country to be granted a 3G licence.
