BrightStar will use Global Capacity’s exchange to gain unprecedented visibility into market pricing, as well as expand its network footprint.
“Our relationship with BrightStar provides the opportunity to expand the breadth and reach of the network capabilities for both of our companies,” said Ben Edmond, chief revenue officer at Global Capacity.
Global Capacity’s One Marketplace will ensure that BrightStar’s solutions are the most competitive, and is also expected to simplify the ordering and provisioning of network services.
“BrightStar‘s partnership with Global Capacity further strengthens our commitment to clients... to provide the highest possible levels of service, no matter how large their bandwidth needs or where they are located,” says Steve Simms, VP of marketing at BrightStar Communications.
“We chose Global Capacity because we saw the advantage of leveraging a fully automated and interconnected network platform to save time and simplify network procurement and delivery.”
In March last year, Global Capacity signed a wholesale services agreement with EarthLink, to allow for increased benefits on an infrastructure basis.
