SIM cards will reportedly be available at $1.50 and local calling rates set for half of the existing price charged by Myanmar Posts and Telecommunications (MPT).
The company also said it would roll out a nationwide HSPA and LTE-enabled wireless network within the next five years.
Last week, Telenor announced an official CEO for the company’s operations in Myanmar.
