GBI appoints Amr Eid as CCO

Gulf Bridge International (GBI) has appointed Amr Eid as its CCO.

The Middle Eastern cable operator appointed Eid with a specific strategy of aiding the company’s expansion into Europe and India.

Eid has gained over 20 years’ IT and telecoms experience working for a range of global companies, including BT Global Services, HP and Raya.

Before joining GBI, Eid served as vice president of Hong Kong’s PCCW Global in its Dubai office.

“I am keen to continue GBI’s work in driving our sale revenues, targeting further strategic partnerships, creating value added services to increase depth and breadth of our service offering,” said Eid.

“And above all, develop close relationships with our partners and customers,” he added.

Eid’s appointment is effective immediately.
