Claro and Telefónica strike network sharing agreement

Brazilian telcos Claro and Telefónica have put in place a plan to share network infrastructure.

The move is designed to improve 4G coverage and is expected to optimise investment costs, operation and maintenance of networks.

The plan will reportedly cover the sharing of infrastructure and backhaul over the next three years.

Oi and TIM Brasil have also recently teamed up for a network sharing agreement.
