CenturyLink has appointed Jeff Von Deylen as president of Savvis, effective immediately. He replaces Bill Fathers.
Von Deylen was previously SVP of global operations and client services at Savvis. He joined the company in 2003, taking the position of CFO and board member.
In his six years at the post he oversaw a period of steady growth as the result of several acquisitions, the raising of financing and the expansion of Savvis’ data centre and network footprint.
His previous experience includes financial and corporate development positions at American Electric Power Co, GTS Telecommunications, Qwest Communications International and Arthur Andersen.
