Capacity Conferences to organise LambdaNet Forum 2013

Capacity Conferences will be organising next year’s LambdaNet Forum in Frankfurt, Germany, following an agreement with euNetworks.

euNetworks took ownership of the annual event when it acquired LambdaNet Communications Deutschland in May 2011, but after only one year in charge has passed its running and organisation onto Capacity Conferences.

The event had previously been running for 11 years and is targeted at senior executives from across the German telecoms market. The next LambdaNet Forum will take place on 25 and 26 February 2013 at the Radisson Blu Hotel in Frankfurt.

euNetworks’ CMO, Uwe Nickl, says the company remains committed to the “continued development” of the event in 2013 and the years to come. “I am delighted that Capacity Conferences is taking on the delivery of the forum and excited for the opportunity this gives to the German and European telecoms industry,” he added.

For Capacity Conferences, the move adds to its existing portfolio of 15 events across the globe, which are designed to bring together regional carrier communities.

“We will bring event expertise, industry knowledge and most importantly neutrality to the LambdaNet Forum,” said Rhian Collinson, head of conferences at Capacity Media.
