Chunghwa Telecom enters conferencing partnership with Arkadin

Taiwan’s Chunghwa Telecom has entered into a partnership with audio and video web conferencing provider Arkadin to “strengthen and extend” their market potential in the region.

Under the agreement Arkadin will be Chunghwa’s audio and web collaboration service provider, improving the telco’s offering to business customers.

"This is a highly strategic partnership between two companies with similar goals to provide the highest quality audio conferencing and collaboration services on the market," said T. F. Leng, president of Chunghwa Telecom International Business Group.

"Chunghwa customers will now have a broader range of conferencing options, including audio, web conferencing and event services. Chunghwa customers will also be able to access conferencing services via mobile applications for iPhone, Android and Blackberry devices."

Olivier de Puymorin, CEO and founder of Arkadin, said that the collaboration would result in greater innovation and increased market coverage in the region.

Arkadin plans to establish an office in Taipei to show that it is committed to the partnership.
