Level 3 expands Etisalat’s presence in the Middle East and Europe
Level 3 is extending its relationship with Etisalat by connecting it to several European cities and providing IP transit services and high-speed IP.
Etisalat has made substantial investments in LTE and FTTx infrastructure to support the growing demand for broadband services. The UAE-based company also said that Level 3’s services will support its business through increased route diversity for its high-speed internet ports.
Ali Amiri, EVP of carrier and wholesale at Etisalat UAE said: “This agreement further strengthens our position as the region’s premier Smart Hub solution provider and reinforces our ability to service our global client base.”
Level 3’s European network includes 380 PoPs across the continent supporting connections to the Middle East and the rest of the world.
“In line with our commitment to expansion, Level 3 continues to invest in its network to better serve the demands of this growing region,” said James Heard, president of European markets at Level 3.
