IRIDEOS, the Italian ICT business and public administration provider, has acquired Enter, the Italian network and cloud services provider.

The deal which was done for an undisclosed amount, is IRIDEOS’s attempt to consolidate the cloud and data centre market in Italy.

“With this new acquisition, our growth path continues, focused on strengthening our assets and skills in the Italian ICT space,” says Mauro Maia, CEO of IRIDEOS. “A wider portfolio of services is now available for our customers, with new cloud solutions and international connectivity.”

A number of solutions are delivered to the customers including: computing, storage, network, domain name system (DNS) and content delivery network (CDN) solutions.

“This is an exciting time for the Italian telecommunications industry as IRIDEOS works to consolidate cloud, network and data centre providers throughout the region,” adds Ivan Botta, CEO of Enter. “We look forward to joining IRIDEOS as we work together to provide solutions that exceed customer expectations.”

As a result of the acquisition Enter becomes part of the IRIDEOS portfolio of services complete with a dense fibre footprint and additional colocation opportunities in Italy while still delivering high-quality cloud and connectivity solutions to users around the world.
