Sprint launches converged wholesale solutions at ITW

Sprint has announced the launch of its converged wholesale solutions at International Telecoms Week 2018.

“As an ITW founding sponsor, we are excited to introduce our converged-solution portfolio, including wireless, wireline, security and internet of things (IoT) offerings over the highly secure and reliable Sprint network,” said Jan Geldmacher, president of Sprint Business.

Delegates were invited to meet Pepper the robot or hear from Sprint IoT director, Parvin Mahajan as he helps paint a picture of the carrier role in the IoT boom. Pepper the robot is Sprint’s humanoid marketing platform built to support businesses by proactively engaging with customers.

Other Sprint leaders were also be on hand to share more about Sprint’s new converged suite of wholesale products that deliver a diverse set of solutions built on Sprint’s robust and evolving wireline and wireless network infrastructure – an infrastructure that has expanded with over 200 MPLS Nodes, 17 shared tenant locations and continued global wireline presence in 155 countries.

This innovative portfolio offers Sprint customers the ability to be on the leading edge of the 5G, IoT telecommunications revolution. Its core suite of products include; Global MPLS, Dedicated Internet Access, Fixed Wireless, Ethernet Wave and MVNO solutions.

The news comes weeks after Deutsche Telekom’s T-Mobile US agreed to take over SoftBank’s Sprint in a non-cash deal, creating what is predicted to be a powerful US mobile operator to compete with Verizon and AT&T.
