Interoute comes out on top in Gartner critical capabilities report

Interoute has been recognised with the highest use case score for a high-performance network as part of Gartner’s March 2018 Critical Capabilities for Network Services Pan –European report.

The report, which is released annually, looks at product and service ratings based on key capabilities set to important, differentiating use cases. It was written by Gartner analysts Katja Ruud and Neil Rickard.

Interoute received the highest score of the 13 Network Service Providers Gartner assessed in the Use Case for High-Performance Network, according to Gartner’s figures.

Mark Lewis, EVP Products & Development at Interoute, stated: “Reliable, high-performance, low-latency networking is key to supporting Enterprises across Europe as they move forward with IaaS and SaaS adoption.

“Our cloud-optimised network capabilities, along with our Interoute Edge Access SD-WAN solutions are leading the way for enterprises wanting to bridge their legacy IT infrastructure with their digital future.”

Gartner says in its summar of the report: “Enterprises' digital business initiatives drive increased adoption of IaaS and SaaS, and Pan-European network service providers' offers are shifting in response. To maximize agility, I&O leaders must evolve their network architectures and sourcing approaches.”

Other firms included in its analysis are the likes of AT&T, BT, Colt, Global Cloud Xchange, Level 3 (now Centurylink), Masergy, NTT, Orange Business Serives, Telefónica, T-Systems, Verizon and Vodafone.

Use Cases it discusses include High-Performance Network, Large European Network, Midsize European Network and Multicountry Branch Network.
