Ethernity Networks, the provider of data processing technology, has appointed Rob O’Hara as its new vice president of worldwide sales.
O’Hara enters the role
with over 30 years’ experience in sales leadership
within the networking and semiconductor market. His most recent
position was as vice president of sales at Mellanox
Technologies, where he was responsible for global network
processor and multicore sales.
Speaking on his new role, O’Hara said: "I
strongly believe in Ethernity's high quality FPGA-based
solutions, and I've already seen great interest from clients in
the telecom industry. I'm looking forward to growing the
business and taking Ethernity to the next level."
Before working at Mellanox Technologies, O’Hara
served for 15 years as the vice president of worldwide sales
for EZchip Technologies, which is until EZchip was acquired by
Mellanox for $811 million in February 2016. In addition,
O’Hara also served in senior management positions
at Conexant Systems and AMD.

Chan as its vice president of sales for Asia-Pacific
Chan brings over 30
years’ experience, over 20 of which are in
executive and sales leadership roles. Before joining Ethernity,
he acted as vice president of sales, APAC for Telestax.
Prior to that, he held the position of vice president of sales
at Allot Communications. Throughout his career Chan has
filled several key executive positions with major corporations,
including NMS Communications (now
Dialogic), General DataComm and Prime Computer.
