Zayo to boost H5 Data Centers with CloudLink services

Zayo Group will begin providing H5 Data Centers’ customers in Cleveland, Denver, Phoenix and Seattle with its CloudLink services.

H5 Data Centers, a US colocation and wholesale data centre provider, will now be connected to over 180 cloud service providers as a result of CloudLink, which provides dedicated, high-performance bandwidth options, enabling secure connectivity directly to major public cloud providers.

“Zayo can now offer H5’s customers high-performance access to more than 365 US and international markets, including Zayo’s Global Reach locations,” said Mike Strople, president of enterprise networks at Zayo.

“We’ve built an extensive global on-ramp network to connect to more than 180 cloud service providers that can support cutting-edge cloud and data centre connectivity requirements.”

Zayo’s CloudLink provides on-ramps to the company’s extensive fibre network, enabling global connectivity to the world’s largest cloud services providers, thousands of on-net facilities, data centres and cloud service providers. H5’s customers may choose traditional, aggregated bandwidth or FlexConnect, Zayo’s usage-based Ethernet solution.

“As enterprise IT requirements continue to change, H5 Data Centers sees an opportunity to significantly increase the cloud interconnection options available to our customers,” said Josh Simms, CEO at H5 Data Centers. “Our enterprise customers can now directly access Zayo’s worldwide network of the largest cloud providers to support the most dynamic hybrid IT architectures.”

H5 Data Centers alluded that CloudLink may be added to further data centre locations.
