Edward Kennedy named as president and CEO of CENX

CENX announced the appointment of Edward Kennedy as its new president and CEO. Kennedy has over 30 years of leadership experience having held executive positions at numerous telecommunications companies.

CENX announced the appointment of Edward Kennedy as its new president and CEO. Kennedy has over 30 years of leadership experience having held executive positions at numerous telecommunications companies. 

His most recent role was as CEO and president of Tollgrade Communications. 

"I am very excited to lead the outstanding team that CENX has assembled," said Kennedy . "Service providers are contending with escalating demand and increasingly complex networks. CENX is uniquely positioned to help them address these challenges at scale by fundamentally changing the way service providers view the network," said Kennedy. 

Kennedy will  oversee the company's organisational and functional development as it continues to meet demand, however his main focus will be on: expanding CENX’s reach into global markets, growing their software business through strategic partnerships and ensure CENX continues to establish itself as a supplier to the world's biggest telecommunication companies.
