Simon Williams is named as the new CEO of NTT DATA UK

NTT DATA UK has announced the appointment of Simon Williams as its new CEO. Williams takes over from Steve Mitchener who retired back in May, officially assuming his new role as of 7 June 2017.

NTT DATA UK has announced the appointment of Simon Williams as its new CEO. Williams takes over from Steve Mitchener who retired back in May, officially assuming his new role as of 7 June 2017.

“I am privileged to have been asked to lead NTT DATA in the UK. We are built on a foundation of excellent delivery, strong teamwork and innovation and I am excited to continue working with such a talented team. As a business, we pride ourselves on building long-term relationships based around advisory services and strategic transformation,” said Williams.

Williams has over 23 years’ experience to bring to the position, having started the consultancy Value Team as CEO back in 2008. After its acquisition in 2012 Williams was promoted to head of telco media, insurance consulting and digital at NTT DATA UK, including the launch of NTT DATA Digital.

Williams has worked in various industries including telecoms, media, financial services and the public sector. He has worked in 10 different countries and launched operators in India and Hungary.
