NTT Com appoints Wakai as its new Singapore president and CEO

NTT Communications' Singapore president and CEO, Takeshi Kazami, is set to resign and will be replaced by Naoki Wakai.

Announced on Wednesday 7 June, the company released a statement confirming the resignation of its current president and CEO effective as of 30 June 2017.

Kazami’s replacement will be Naoki Wakai, the current deputy managing director of NTT Europe, who has held this position for nearly five years. Prior to that Wakai worked as director at NTT Communications making it nearly eleven years at company altogether.

NTT Com recently unveiled an executive reshuffle which will see its SVP and head of managed services Shigeru Kitabatake stepping down later this month. Earlier this week, NTT Com announced a partnership with PacketFabric to expand IP services across the US.
