NTT Com unveils revamp of management team

NTT Communications has unveiled an executive reshuffle which will see its SVP and head of managed services Shigeru Kitabatake stepping down later this month.

Kitabatake will leave the company on 20 June, with NTT Com appointing current SVP and head of systems Hirofumi Miyama to replace him. Miyama’s role will be taken on by current director of development, human resources, Masayuki Oikawa.

The reshuffle will also see current SVP and head of procurements Wei Chii become VP of ICT consulting, while director of corporate planning Katsunori Yamashita will take over from Chii in procurement.

On 23 June, current director of service strategy and corporate planning Shuji Inaba will become SVP of corporate planning, also as part of the reshuffle.

NTT gave no explanation for Kitabatake’s deperature, saying only: “NTT Communications Corporation, the ICT solutions and international communications business within the NTT Group, announced today changes in organisational responsibilities.”
