Telco Systems partners with Certes for virtual network security

Telco Systems has teamed with software-defined security solutions provider Certes Networks to offer security software for virtualised networks.

The partnership is targeting network operators and service providers, aiming to deliver performance optimised, flexible and secure enterprise network services.

The Virtual Certes Enforcement Point (vCEP) is a virtual policy enforcer that encrypts enterprise application traffic in both cloud and virtual environments. The partnership sees vCEP deployed across Telco Systems’ CloudMetro vCPE platforms.

The CloudMetro white box and grey box solutions provide carriers with an NFV solution, aiming to make a network more agile.

“Virtualised networking offers unprecedented adaptability, allowing enterprises to fine tune connectivity services to their specific needs,” said Satyam Tyagi, CTO of Certes Networks.

“But flexibility should never compromise communications security, especially in this era of heightened cyberattacks and data breaches.

“By deploying this joint solution from Telco Systems and Certes, service providers can offer enterprise customers rapid service turn-up and customisation with state-of-the-art security that safeguards their most sensitive applications."
