Altice USA appoints two new executive leaders

Altice USA has promoted executive vice president Lisa Rosenblum to vice chairman, while appointing former Shearman and Sterling LLP partner David Connolly as her replacement, effective immediately.

Rosenblum, who was most recently executive vice president for government and public affairs at the company, joined Altice following the successful $17.7 billion acquisition of Cablevision in June.

She will report directly into CEO Dexter Goei, helping to shape Altice’s relationship with government and communities the company serves. She will also direct corporate strategy on legislative, regulatory and public policy.

Of Rosenblum’s appointment, Goei said: “Lisa is a tremendous asset to Altice USA, providing strategic counsel and leadership for complex legal and regulatory matters. With her vast knowledge and industry experience, she will continue to serve as senior counsellor to me and the entire Altice USA leadership team as we position Altice for success and further growth in the US.”

Her replacement Connolly joins from Shearman and Sterling, the law firm which represented Altice in the Cablevision takeover, where he had worked the last four years, most recently as partner in the firm’s mergers and acquisitions division.

In his new role as EVP and general counsel, he will oversee all US legal affairs for Altice. David is a well-respected and talented lawyer with an impressive track record in representing multinational corporations. Altice benefited greatly from his keen insight and thoughtful counsel during our acquisition of Cablevision. He will be a terrific addition to our strong management team and we look forward to his leadership on all legal matters for Altice USA,” added Goei.
