Singtel launches OTT video service over 4G network

Singtel has launched an OTT video portal application, delivered on its 4G network

‘Cast’ - available to its postpaid customers - is said to provide “thousands of hours of” movies, dramas, variety shows and children edutainment from partners such as top content providers Viu and Nickelodeon.

“Our customers are huge fans of entertainment on-the-go and we know that they want greater flexibility with what they watch and also when and how they watch it,” said Goh Seow Eng, managing director of home at Consumer Singapore at Singtel. 

“We are forging ahead in the OTT space through more strategic partnerships with strong content providers such as Viu and Nickelodeon. We look forward to partnering more top content providers to offer an ever-growing selection on Cast that will give our customers greater choice and the best entertainment experience.” 

Subscribers will have instant access to full HD downloads to watch offline. They are also said to have access to uninterrupted streaming on Singtel’s 4G network or any Wifi connection. 

Subscriptions start from $3.60 (S$4.90) a month per pack with a 12-month contract or $5.10 (S$6.90) per month with no contract.
