NTT Communications appoints executives for East Asia

Hideaki Ozaki has been named president and CEO of NTT Com Asia alongside the executive appointments of Theodoric Chan as CCO and Taylor Man as CTO.

The three executives will be in charge of business strategies and development in the East Asia region covering Hong Kong, Macau, Taiwan and Korea.

“I am very honoured to join NTT Com Asia, an organisation that delivers high quality and innovative ICT solutions for enterprises to establish a strong foothold in Hong Kong, Asia and beyond,” said Ozaki, formerly head of carrier relations and planning division of global business at the company’s headquarters. “Under the leadership of Mr. Takanobu Maeda since 2009, the organization has experienced tremendous business growth and transformed itself from a telco to a data center, cloud and ICT industry leader. I am excited to be part of this fast growing company.”

Ozaki is said to have played a critical role in expanding NTT Com’s overseas business and developing relationships with other ICT partners globally as well as participating in corporate investment and M&A projects in the region.

The new chief said that investing in technology and talent will be an upcoming focus on his agenda. “The new executive team is built upon this vision to align our leadership and organizational structure to make this happen. I look forward to working with the NTT Communications’ team in Hong Kong, Macau, Taiwan and Korea to take the company to new heights,” he said.
