GTT appoints Satin to board of directors

GTT has elected Wolters Kluwer’s Elizabeth Satin to the GTT board of directors.

Satin presently serves as head of mergers and acquisitions for publicly traded information services company Wolters Kluwer based in the Netherlands. 

She brings 25 years of M&A and corporate finance experience, including over seven years at Wolters Kluwer where she present leads acquisitions and divestitures for GTT’s four global divisions. 

“Elizabeth brings unique expertise to the GTT board,” said H. Brian Thompson, executive chairman and founder of GTT. “Her specialty in M&A and strong knowledge of international markets, specifically South America and Europe, will be invaluable to GTT as we continue to expand our business on a global scale.”

Satin has served on the boards of Access Data – a provider of e-discovery and mobile device forensics for corporations – and One Legal, a technology firm that provides online legal support tools.

Of her appointment, Satin said: “Joining the board of a dynamic company like GTT is tremendously exciting,” said Satin. “I look forward to leveraging my experience in finance, including global M&A transactions, to help GTT continue its aggressive growth in the communications services market.”
