Ganapathy, who has over 26 years’ experience across FMCG, retail, entertainment and telecom s sectors, will be tasked with driving the growth of Bharti Airtel's B2B portfolio that serves top corporations, government entities and other corporates with end-to-end solutions.
He will report to Gopal Vittal, CEO and managing director, India & South Asia, Bharti Airtel, who said: "I am delighted at the appointment of Ashok to lead Airtel Business, which is a key contributor to our growth. Having joined Bharti Airtel in May 2013 as the Hub CEO for Mumbai, Maharashtra, Goa & Gujarat circles, Ganapathy will from next month take over from Manish Prakash, who is moving into a new role as director of strategic alliances.
