SQUAN buys assets of Strong Tower Communications

SQUAN, a telco infrastructure service provider, has acquired the assets of Strong Tower Communications (Strong).

SQUAN, a telecommunications infrastructure service provider that supplies project managers and field staff to the wireless, wireline, cable and enterprise markets, has bought the assets of Strong Tower Communications, LLC (Strong).

Strong provides wireless macro services including new site builds, fibre delivery and testing, maintenance, and program management to wireless telecommunications companies.

SQUAN has had a long-standing relationship with Strong,” said Leighton Carroll, its Chief Executive Officer. “We respect both their leadership and their team’s ability to cover the Southeast and deliver with quality. This acquisition allows us to strengthen our capabilities, building upon our recent acquisition of Osmose Communications Services,” Carroll adds.

Over the next few months, the Strong brand will transition to SQUAN and the team will continue to function from its office in Acworth, Georgia. Josh Ward will continue to lead the organization and report to SQUAN Senior Vice President, Keith Pennachio.

“Adding wireless antenna and line crews to our Southeast team helps us further expand the number of projects we will be able to cover for our clients,” states Pennachio. “Josh brings a wealth of delivery leadership and we are excited to have him and his entire team join SQUAN.”

The price of the acquisition was not disclosed.
