Tawasul Telecom expands Dubai office

Tawasul Telecom has announced the expansion of its office in Dubai in a move to meet growing business in the region.

Tawasul Telecom’s latest Dubai office – located in Jumeirah Lakes Towers, Cluster V – replaces its former office that was established in 2010. It will be occupied by the operator’s global sales team headed by Ahmed Khan, chief sales officer and John Wimpole, head of carrier sales.

“The Dubai office expansion is in line with our strategic objectives to serve our regional and global customer base,” said Fajhan Almutairi, chief executive officer at Tawasul Telecom. “We continue to foresee strong growth in 2016 and beyond for secure connectivity requirements from our clients. We understand the UAE’s strategic importance as a gateway to the MENA region and our Dubai office and sales team enables Tawasul to be even closer to our partners and existing clients.”

Tawasul Telecom has sought to strengthen its global sales force in a bid to meet increasing demand for ICT solutions and services. The company plans to continue its focus on its main MPLS and Ethernet services which provides reach for regional and global carriers in the Gulf, Middle East and North Africa.

Almutairi added: “Today, Tawasul has grown by leaps and bounds thanks, in part, to its focus on the quality execution of cloud based services which have seen a significant uptick in the regional markets as businesses and companies embrace this technology in their technical frameworks."
