China Telecom India launches enterprise cloud service

China Telecom has revealed the launch of cloud services in India, designed to help Chinese enterprises tackle IT deployment problems in the country.

Announced during a company presentation, attended by more than 100 Chinese enterprises, the service is expected to deliver safe, convenient and high quality cloud computing services.

“With the new cloud service, we can provide new development impetus and create new opportunities for Chinese enterprises in international expansion,” said Alex Wang, managing director at China Telecom India.

The service will enable the availability of private and public hybrid cloud solutions, and the operator claims to be placing a great emphasis on security.

“We are investing in the cloud-based resources in the core regions and key countries in Asia-Pacific, Europe and America in relation to the Belt and Road initiative,” Wang added.

“We are committed to building an ecosystem that fosters win-win cooperation and open collaboration, and we partner with world class players in offering cloud computing products and services to the Chinese enterprises expanding overseas.”
