RTX secures £25 million in funding

RTX Routetrader Exchange has secured £25 million in senior debt funding from PNC Business Credit.

RTX will use its first asset based lending facility to grow its global carrier exchange, which allows 6000 members across the globe to buy and sell voice and SMS traffic.

“This partnership enables RTX to expand its global footprint and continue to invest in voice, SMS and data platforms, further improving service for its members and increasing revenues,” said Albert Mackey, CEO at RTX.

The company has rapidly expanded its business in 2015. In April, it launched Fast Pay, a service designed to bridge cash flow gap and speed up payments between carriers of its global carrier exchange service, while in October it partnered with Deutsche Telekom International Carrier Sales & Solutions (ICSS) to launch a web-based voice platform.
