Vodafone and Synchronoss extend cloud deal

Vodafone and Synchronoss extend cloud deal

Vodafone and Synchronoss Technologies have extended their existing secure cloud hosting agreement to support the global growth in demand for carrier-grade cloud services.

The two companies have been partners for several years, whereby Vodafone provides cloud hosting services to Synchronoss across Europe, the Middle East and Asia-Pacific, and the extended deal will see Synchronoss provided with additional capabilities to fully leverage Vodafone’s reach.

“Cloud has become a critical part of our carrier customers’ core communication strategy and the new normal,” said Chris Halbard, EVP and president international at Synchronoss.

“Having a white label cloud offering that sits inside the carrier’s secure network allows carriers to own the customer relationship. We are witnessing growing conviction for the importance of carrier branded cloud solutions, which is why we are excited to partner with Vodafone.”

The two companies hope their extended agreement to meet this growing demand for carrier-branded cloud solutions with innovative cloud services and a global hosting environment.
