Management reshuffle at Epsilon as Hipp departs

Andreas Hipp has resigned as group CEO of Epsilon Group with Jerzy Szlosarek and Madhigubba Gopal Jayasimha taking over as CEO of Epsilon Telecommunications and Cataleya respectively.

Szlosarek and Jayasimha have assumed their new positions at Epsilon and Cataleya effective immediately, and will focus solely on their individual businesses.

In addition, Jayasimha and CFO Tan Eng Kwee have been appointed to the board of Epsilon.

“We are confident that Epsilon will continue to have strong leadership and both Epsilon Telecom and Cataleya will continue to be brand leaders and continue to be an increasingly strong force in the global telecommunications and technology industry. The Epsilon Group stands by our commitment to provide outstanding services to our clients and business partners, and to create innovative ideas, as well as pioneering solutions and services for our customers worldwide,” said Epsilon Global Communications chairman Steve Burton.

Hipp cited personal reasons for stepping down as CEO, a position he has held since 2003.

“The Board would like to thank Andreas for his dedication, commitment and leadership of the Epsilon Group during his tenure,” added Burton.
