TTI and Paltel sign partnership agreement

TTI and Paltel sign partnership agreement

Türk Telekom International has signed a partnership agreement with Palestinian telco Paltel at Capacity Eurasia 2015.

The move will see the two companies interconnect their MPLS networks, which will help extend network coverage to their enterprise customers.

It marks Paltel’s first expansion into the Eurasian market. “The signing of this agreement falls in-line with Paltel's strategy for tactical linking of GCC and Middle East to key markets in Eurasia,” said Maen Melhem, GM at Paltel.

For TTI, it builds on a number of partnerships with carriers, including an MoU with China Telecom Global.

“It is our pleasure to partner with Paltel, which is a leading operator in the Middle East region with tremendous success in providing reliable and sustainable connectivity. This partnership will allow both companies to provide world class connectivity,” said Cengiz Oztelcan, CEO of TTI.

Oztelcan was also on the keynote panel this morning discussing connectivity in the Eurasian region.
