LTE broadcast is designed to allow the distribution of multimedia content to an unlimited number of users by reusing the existing 4G network.
The trial took place at Estadio Mestalla in Valencia, Spain in May this year, and the eBMBS solution in Vodafone’s network delivered real-time access to five channels of multimedia content for users.

In September last year, Polkomtel and Ericsson joined forces to trial LTE Broadcast technology in Poland.
