Telstra wins $12.5 million contract with Allianz

Telstra has signed a $12.5 million three-year partnership agreement with Allianz Insurance.

Under the terms of the deal, Telstra will provide Allianz with voice, data and over 800 mobile services.

Allianz will be working with Telstra to identify where its business can use technology innovation to drive increased customer advocacy.

The insurance company has approximately 4,000 staff and with three million Australian customers, providing mobility is critical to the business.

“Before implementing any technology solution you must take time to understand the needs of those who will be using and engaging with the services. We’ve worked closely with Allianz to provide deep insight into the banking and finance industry and to truly identify the new trends in customer engagement which will ultimately affect the technology environment they create,” said Martijn Blanken, CCO of Telstra Global Enterprise and Services.

“Being able to share our experience in this industry with Allianz has encouraged a fantastic environment of co-creation and innovation, allowing us to identify and develop some exciting emerging services for Allianz customers."
