The arrangement is said to be one of the largest wholesale deals of its kind in Bulgaria, which lags behind other European countries in areas such as wholesale arrangements and MVNO models.
“This gives us an opportunity to reach out to customers we would otherwise find it difficult to meet and offer them our high-speed mobile internet services,” said Peter Covell, CEO of Max.
Harald Rosch, Blizoo’s CEO, sees it as an “opportunity to create business synergies”.
In May, Max launched the first commercially operating 4G/LTE networking in Bulgaria, covering nine cities in the country. Blizoo is a provider of bundled services, offering TV, internet and calls to all fixed networks.
